Homemade Chicken Tortellini Soup ~ Recipe!
Sami’s Homemade Chicken Tortellini Soup Recipe!
(To feed a family of 3)
What You’ll Need:
💚 6-7 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
💚 4 TbSp Organic Butter
💚 3 Tsp of Hemp / Vegetable Oil
💚 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
💚 1-2 Bags of Tortellini (I use the three-cheese blend)
💚 10 baby carrots
💚 1 White Onion
💚 3 Celery Sticks
💚 Kosher Salt
💚 Ground Black Peppercorn
💚5-8 Cloves of Garlic, to personal preference.
💚 2 Harvest Farms 48oz Organic, Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
OR make your own broth by boiling an entire 5lb chicken for 3-4 hours until the meat falls off, then remove the bones and continue with this recipe!
What To Do:
💚 Cut chicken into half-inch sized cubes, place in large soup pot with butter, minced garlic, minced celery, minced carrots, salt & pepper (to taste), minced onion, and hemp/vegetable oil. Heat to medium-high, but not the highest setting or the chicken will be tough and chewy. Cook for roughly 15 minutes.
💚 Slowly add broth and Parmesan cheese, no clumps! Heat to boiling.
💚 Add Tortellini, boil until pasta is tender!
💚 Serve with crackers and extra Parmesan for you cheese lovers!
